# AWS Management Account

The management account is responsible for managing all other AWS accounts via AWS Organizations. This includes creating new accounts, moving accounts around, and deleting accounts. This account is also responsible for managing all billing related tasks. This account is also responsible for managing all CloudFormation templates and AMIs.

This guide contains examples of how to setup our staging management account. If you are working with our production mangement account, please replace relavent information as needed.
